Responsibilities
  • Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing
  • Conduct oral cancer screenings and take dental X-rays
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions
  • Assist the dentist in identifying conditions like gingivitis, periodontitis, and caries
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
  • Ensure all dental instruments are sterilized and properly maintained
  • Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a seamless patient experience
  • Promote a positive work environment and uphold the mission and values of Houston Dental Oasis
Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)
  • Current CPR certification
  • Minimum of one year of clinical experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply
  • Proficiency in performing dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing
  • Strong diagnostic and patient education skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Compassionate and patient-focused approach
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and education
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship now or in the future
